Early-Career, Resident & Trainee Memberships
Gynaia actively supports residents, clinical trainees, and early-stage researchers by offering reduced-rate access to its training programmes, certification pathways, and clinical decision-support ecosystem. Early-career professionals should not face unnecessary barriers, as they contribute to advancing quality and consistency in gynecologic ultrasound.
Early-career memberships provide the same educational content, certification pathways, and tools as standard individual memberships, at a substantially reduced rate.

Your questions, answered
Who is eligible for an early-career membership?
Early-career memberships are intended for medical residents and clinical trainees, as well as MSc students and PhD researchers. If you fall outside these categories but believe your role qualifies as early-career, you may still apply and briefly explain your situation in the application. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Do early-career members receive the same access as standard individual members?
Yes. Early-career members receive full access to the same training programmes, certification pathways, educational materials, case database, webinars, decision-support tools, and community resources as standard individual members. The only difference is the reduced membership fee.
How long is the early-career rate valid?
The early-career rate is valid one membership year at a time and can be renewed annually as long as eligibility criteria continue to apply.
Renewal is based on self-attestation; no new letter of support is required unless your status has changed.
What kind of letter of support is required?
A brief letter confirming your current training or academic status is sufficient.
A simple template is provided for convenience (see above), but any format is accepted as long as it corroborates your eligibility.
Who can provide the letter of support?
The letter may be provided by any appropriate supervisor, including but not limited to: the clinical supervisor or attending physician, the programme director, your PhD supervisor or principal investigator, or the department head.
Can I apply for multiple programmes at once?
Yes. You can select one or more programmes by ticking the relevant boxes in the application form.
How long does the review process usually take?
Applications are typically reviewed within one to two working days, depending on helpdesk workload.
What if my training or research status changes during the membership year?
If your status changes during an active membership year, your access is not affected.
The early-career rate remains valid until the end of the current membership term.
